Chakra Meditation

Chakra Meditation

It is important to make sure that your chakras are open and in balance for you to feel harmonic and at peace. A way to balance your chakras is with chakra healing meditation, where you will take your time to go through each chakra and lead positive healing energy to that area and allow yourself to balance the chakras.

But to practice chakra meditation you need to know the different location and characteristics with the chakras. The seven most know chakras are placed in a line going up from the base of your spine to the top of your head. At the base you'll find the root chakra, which is the location for stability, steadiness and balance. above the root chakra is the sacral chakra and is the location for creativity, sexuality and also psychic development. This chakra is placed just below the naval. Then you move up to the third chakra which is the solar plexus between the navel and the heart that is connected with our energy, spontaneity and will-power. The next chakra is the heart chakra, which is located at your heart area and is characterized with love, unconditionally love and healing. The next chakra is the throat chakra and is the center for verbal expression and communication. The sixth chakra is the ajna chakra placed in the middle of the forehead and is the portal to the spiritual world. The last chakra is the crown chakra, which is our connection to the Divine and Higher Self.

Your Guardian Angel

Your Guardian Angel

They say that guardian angels are here to help and guide us through life. The angels are with us through every step of our way and they are ready to help when we ask for their help. One way you can ask the guardian angel for help is with angel meditation, where you will get into a stress free state where you will empty your mind and focus on the question you you want answers to from your angel. You may want to perform an imagery meditation where you create a relaxing place in your mind where you can visualize your angel and feel its love.

When you have talked to your angel it is important that you are ready to receive the answer. We do not know how it is going to come to us. Maybe it will show through signs and signals or maybe it will be a feeling that you get. Or the answer may appear while meditating when your mind is silenced and ready to receive any outside guidance.

Imagery Meditation

Imagery Meditation

Imagery meditation is a great way to reduce stress in your life. It is also a good practice if you are working with the law of attraction and how you can attract things into your life.

Find a comfortable way to sit, and a place where no one will interrupt you for at least 15 minutes. Close your eyes and take a minute to relax your mind.
Take a deep and long breath and see the air taking away all worries and irritation from your body. Feel you muscles getting relaxed.

Now see yourself lying on a silent beach in the evening. The sun is low and on its way down. You can feel the cool fresh summer wind on your bare skin. You can smell the fresh smell of the sea and you can hear the constant beat of the waves. Work with all of your senses and really feel the place. Take your time and do not rush it.

This location is a place where you feel safe and secure. It is a place where you can be at peace and only be with yourself. Take a moment to completely experience this peace. This serenity. Focus on the present. Not on the past or the future but on the present.

Try this technique whenever you need to take a break from your day.

Quiet Your Mind

Quiet Your Mind

The ability to quiet your mind and stop inner chatting is a great ability to have as it allows you to become aware of the present and allow ideas and solutions to come into your mind and be heard. It is also a great way to leave worries outside and take a mental break from the world for a moment. So how to achieve this quiet mind?

Take some time out of your day to do a short meditation where you will not be disturbed by anyone or anything. Sit or lie down and close your eyes. Take a moment to feel comfortable and calm.

Take a deep breath all the way down into your stomach. Feel the air as it enters your nostrils and how it raises your chest and belly. Exhale the air through your nose and feel it leave you body removing all tension and thoughts.

This is just a simple breathing meditation and during this meditation many thoughts will enter your mind and when they do, all you need to do is to simply return your focus back to the breathing. Now in the beginning this will happen a lot, so it is very important that you do not get frustrated by it but simply return to your meditation without getting irritated by it.

Love Sending Technique

Love Sending Technique

Do you wish to send some love and positive healing energies to someone you know? Then try this exercise:

Find a quiet place to do this meditation technique where you will not be disturbed. Close your eyes and take a moment to get relaxed. Take a couple of deep breaths to cleanse your body and removing all negative energies. Imagine that you are inhaling positive strong energy into your body and removing all worries and tension from your body.

Now imagine the person that you want to send love to is standing in front of you. Know that this is the person. Imagine how he/she looks, smells, sounds, moves, etc. now imagine bright white healing light is raining down from the universe and over that person. Feel the love of the energy. Know that this is positive healing energy. Bath the person in this light and see how the dark negative energy from his/her body is removed as it is washed away. See the person getting stronger and filled with love and bliss.

Meditation Journal

Meditation Journal

A meditation journal is a place where you can write down all your practice experiments and exercises and the results of these exercises. It is very easy to overlook or forget details of your meditation and so you may ignore some great results or messages. For instance you may want to practice some third eye meditation and work on your spirituality. But if you do not write down every little detail of your practice you may have difficulties seeing the development. It does not have to be extraordinary results or some obvious sign, but every little detail about the meditation is important, then you can analyze it later when you have more data and can see the development.
So write down everything from what you feel, see, hear, smell or if suddenly strange thoughts that seem to be coming from outside of you, are getting into your head. You should also write down what type of meditation you are performing and for how long. Making a meditation journal is especially great for those who want to develop their psychic skills or work on their spirituality. It is also good for people who seek answers and solutions as that may come to you while meditating. So why not give it a try.
